Markets, MvE Strategy Atelier

The markets that
built the lens.

Born and raised in Singapore, British–Canadian and based in Vancouver, I've lived, worked and built across eight markets, each one teaching a different part of how a business actually works. Strategy, for me, is pattern recognition. These are where the patterns came from.

A global pattern-recognition lens

Not a map of offices. A record of the places that shaped how I read a business.

01
Singapore
Where it began, a five-star service standard, absorbed at fifteen, that became the first lens on brand as something people feel and decide to trust. Multicultural fluency, a hospitality foundation.
02
Hong Kong
Speed, trade, density, global business at pace, where positioning has to earn attention in seconds.
03
Melbourne
Design, lifestyle and culture, the market that sharpened taste and the feel of a brand before the logic of it.
04
Dubai
International ambition and premium markets, perception as currency, where the standard is set high and held.
05
Vancouver
Premium service, wellness and lifestyle, and the market behind campaigns associated with four consecutive "Best of the City" recognitions, and California Closets Vancouver's record month.
06
London
Fintech, founder proximity, high-trust networks, a major professional chapter, and the work behind the Sharegain rebrand and Marylebone Design Collectif, built from zero.
07
Cologne
European design, craft and precision, a rigor and trade-fair culture, and a family connection to Germany that shaped an early eye for how quality is properly built.
08
Bali
Creativity, wellness and intentional building, a slower, more deliberate cadence that sharpened taste, restoration and the discipline of designing a business, and a life, on purpose.

I see the pattern. Then I build the system.

How I work now

The work is international by default, from founder-led ventures in London to premium brands across the Gulf and North America. Location has never been the boundary. Structure is.

Why it matters

Eight markets means eight ways of seeing the same problem. It's why the read is fast, and why the structure holds when a business moves between cultures, categories and stages.

Wherever the work is, the structure travels.

If your vision has outgrown its structure, in any market, a Structure Review is the fastest way to see the problem clearly.
